The types (or categories) of personal information we will collect about you and process are as follows:

  • Personal Identifiers – Information which can identify you, such as your name and date of birth
  • Contact Details – Information on where you live and how we may contact you to discuss your agreement.
  • Location Data – Information we receive from your device (mobile phone, computer etc.) when you visit our website or log on to your online account

Why we need your personal information
We need to collect your personal information in order to send you news and updates by your chosen method. If you choose not to provide us with your personal information, it will mean that we will be unable to keep you updated.

We may collect personal information directly from you when you sign up to our newsletter or through third party analytic tools.

All data submitted to these platforms will be encrypted and will not be identifiable by the platforms themselves.

Your personal data is protected by legal rights, which include your rights to object to our processing of your personal data; request that your personal data is erased or corrected; request access to your personal data.

Transfers of Data outside of the EEA
Your personal data will not be transferred outside of the European Union. If in the event Notts Foodie are required to transfer data outside of the European Union, we will:

  • Only do so with either your consent, or where we have a legal basis for processing
  • Put in place a contract with the organisation to ensure the data is protected to the same standards as if it were still within the European Union.

How long we retain your personal information
We will keep your personal information for as long as you remain active with Notts Foodie. Once you are no longer active for 12 months of more, we will remove your information from our database.

How to access your personal information?
You have the right to access the personal information we hold on you by emailing us at jade@nottsfoodie.com

What if your personal data is incorrect?
You have the right to have your data corrected if its inaccurate or incomplete. Please contact us if you would like us to do this and we will take reasonable steps to check its accuracy and correct it.

Deleting your personal data
You have the right to ask us to erase your personal data. Please contact us if you would like us to consider your request. If we are unable to comply with your request for erasure, we will explain to you why.

How to restrict the processing of your personal information?
You have the right to request that we cease processing the personal information we hold about you if it is not accurate, it has been used unlawfully and you don’t want us to delete it or your information is no longer relevant but you wish for us to keep it for use in legal claims. Please contact us if you would like to exercise this right.

Data Portability
You have the right to ask us to provide you with a copy of the personal information you provided to us or to request that we transfer this data to another organisation in a format that can be easily re-used. Please contact us if you would like to exercise this right.

What if you want us to stop using your personal information?
You have the right to object to our use of your personal information. There may be legal reasons as to why we may need to keep your data, however, please contact us if you think we should not be using it.

You also have the right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioners Office, who regulates the processing of personal data. You can do this by phone on 0303 123 1113, or via the ICO website.
